Pipe anti-corrosion heat shrink tape and heat shrink sleeve are used for anti-corrosion of welding joints, how do we choose one of the two products. This still depends on some circumstances, such as the environment, the diameter of the pipe, etc.

    Under normal circumstances, we generally prefer to use heat shrinkable sleeves, but heat shrinkable tapes can be selected under the following conditions:

      1. Some large-diameter steel pipe welding joints are anti-corrosive, and heat shrinkable tape can be used. Large-diameter steel pipes are more troublesome to operate, and most domestic heat shrinkable tapes are used.

      2. In the construction section where the working space is narrow, it is not convenient to install the heat shrinkable sleeve.

      3. There is a lot of sand on the construction site, and there are many stones or other hard objects on the construction site. A heat shrinkable tape can be used, because the heat shrinkable sleeve is easily smeared and scratched on the surface if it is placed on the steel pipe in advance.

      This is usually our recommended choice, from ease of use and ease of operation. The baking construction of the relatively heat-shrinkable sleeve is relatively simple. The heat shrink sleeve is commonly called a dead sleeve because it is cylindrical or tubular. Before welding, the steel pipe must be sleeved on one end of the steel pipe in advance. After the steel pipe is welded, move it to the repair position to remove the plastic bag and anti-sticking Paper, to carry out patching construction. This is less flexible than heat shrinkable tape, because sometimes it takes time to reach the destination from shipment, so if you use a heat shrinkable sleeve, you must weld the steel pipe after the goods arrive. Because if all the welding is completed and then the heat shrink sleeve is set, the difficulty is greater and it is almost difficult to operate. The heat shrinkable tape is not subject to this restriction, and it does not matter if the entire pipeline is completely welded. Because the heat-shrinkable tape is a coated anti-corrosion material, it is covered on the pipe. When baking, the fixing piece needs to be installed at the overlap. Therefore, the construction is relatively cumbersome, and the unused staff may not be able to operate it.

如何在热缩带和热缩套之间选用

管道防腐热缩带和热缩套都是用于焊口的防腐，我们如何在两个产品中选用一个呢。这个还是要根据一些情况而定，比如环境、管径大小等等。

   通常情况下我们一般是优先选用热缩套的，但是在下列条件下可以选择热缩带：

     1，一些大管径的钢管焊接处防腐，可以采用热缩带。大口径的钢管操作起来比较麻烦，一般国内选用热缩带居多。

     2，在作业空间狭小的施工段，热缩套安装起来不方便。

     3，施工现场风沙大，施工现场石头或其它硬物多，可以选用热缩带，因为热缩套如果事先套在钢管上，容易弄脏，表面容易划伤。

     这是通常情况下我们的建议选择，从使用的方便性和操作的方便性。相对热缩套的烘烤施工比较简单。热缩套我们俗称死套，是因为它是圆筒状，或者叫管状，钢管在焊接前必须事先套在钢管的一端，等钢管焊接完，再移动到补口位置取下塑料袋和防粘纸，进行补口施工。这个相对于热缩带就比较不灵活，因为有时候从发货到达目的地也是需要时间的，因此如果采用热缩套就必须货到达后才能焊接钢管。因为如果全部焊接完再套热缩套，困难比较大，几乎不好操作。而热缩带不受到这个限制，整个管线全部焊接完也没关系。因为热缩带是包覆式的防腐材料，包覆在管道上，在进行烘烤，搭接处需要安装固定片。因此相对施工比较繁琐点，而且没有用过的工作人员可能不太会操作。
