One of the insulation materials commonly used in the power cable industry is the heat shrink pipe, the main conductor metal material has copper and aluminum, the next introduction: cross-linked polyethylene cable core material aluminum performance, aluminum is one of the commonly used metal materials in power cable conductors, due to abundant resources, the price is lower than copper, more and more aluminum is used to replace copper as a wire.

In order to increase the softness of aluminum wire, the aluminum wire used to manufacture the electric cable core, in addition to small cross-section (10 m or less), generally also need to be tough edgy as copper wire, different in the need not to be isolated from the air, the rinsing temperature (300 to 350 degrees C) is lower, the time is also short. The softness improves after the toughness and the strength of the anti-sheet is reduced.

化学纯铝的电阻率ρA1=0.0263x 10- 6 Ω m,电阻温度系数аA1= 0 .004 031℃一’,不同性能的铝材,其参数有所不同,如表2-9

所示。

导体、护套用压延线材和铝杆的铝线锭应符合YB813-55规定,不应低于GB 1196-75中一号铝和特一号铝(护套用)的规定,如表2一10所示。

为了使铝线柔软性增加,用于制造电力电缆线芯的铝线,除小截面外(10 m时以下),一般也和铜线一样需经韧炼,不同处在于无需与空气隔绝,韧炼温度(300^ 350℃)较低,时间也较短而已。韧炼后柔软性提高,抗张强度降低。
