Silicone rubber cold shrinkage tube is the main force in the future power industry

10KV~35 KV High Voltage cable is the main channel of urban power supply at present. With the development of economy, people rely on power more and more, and the reliability of power supply is more and more demanding. The heat shrinkable tube currently in use is the use of high-energy radiation to make the casing protective material in the pre-heating expansion of the post-molding, due to material constraints and respiratory effects, the service life of the heat shrinkable tube protection material is usually only 4-5 years, and the service life of the cable up to 20-40 years. Compared with the heat shrinkable tube, the cold shrinkage tube also has some significant advantages:

The heat shrinkable tube is heated so that the tube material shrinks, so there must be a heating source.

Cold shrinkage tube is at room temperature using pulling support bar to make it shrink, do not need to have a heat source, construction more convenient.

Thermal shrinkage Cable Accessories use a maximum voltage rating of 35kV due to the limitations of their electrical stress control materials.

Silicone rubber cold shrinkage tubes are currently ripe for 220kV

The heat shrinkable pipe is limited by the structure and material, and the insulation distance required by the installation site of the stress tube and the end of the wiring is longer, which may lead to the intersection or proximity of the high pressure part of the product when the phase needs to be adjusted after installation, and the occurrence of interphase discharge phenomenon.

硅橡胶冷缩管未来将取代热缩管

l0KV~35 KV高压电缆是目前城市供电的主要通道。随着经济的发展,人们对电力的依赖程度越来越高,而且对供电的可靠性要求也越来越高。高压电缆由于其生产及运输的限制,长度一般仅为几百米/根,而电缆的引出及加长续接都依赖于专门的防护材料。目前使用的热缩管就是利用高能射线辐射使套管防护材料在受热前扩张后一次成型,由于材料的限制和呼吸效应的影响,热缩管防护材料的使用寿命通常仅为4~5年,而电缆的使用寿命长达20~40年。电缆的寿命与防护材料的寿命不匹配的矛盾严重影响了供电系统的稳定运行,增加维护强度,而硅橡胶冷缩管防护材料充分利用了硅橡胶的绝缘特性和良好的耐侯性与弹性,完全可以与电缆的寿命相匹配,所以不久的将来冷缩管取代热缩管防护材料将是科技进步的必然趋势。

相对与热缩管,冷缩管还有一些比较显著的优势:

热缩管是采用加热使管材料收缩,所以必须要有加热源。

冷缩管是在常温下采用抽拉支撑条使其收缩,不需要有热源,施工更加方便。

热缩式电缆附件因其电应力控制材料的局限性,其使用最高电压等级为35kV。

硅橡胶冷缩管目前成熟应用到220kV

热缩管受结构和材料限制,应力管安装部位与接线端部所需的绝缘距离较长,可能导致产品在安装后需要调相时导致的高压部位交叉或接近、产生相间放电现象的发生。

硅橡胶冷缩管对电缆本体保持抱紧力、可与电缆运行时的热胀冷缩呼吸同步,控制绝缘间隙的产生,此结构可有效降低绝缘距离、使得高压部分长度变短、减小安装可能造成的缺陷。
