Application prospect of thermal shrinkage insulating materials in substation

The selection of high quality heat shrinkage material will obviously improve the insulation protection level of substation, and the comprehensive insulation protection of heat shrinkage material used in substation can reduce the occurrence of accidents and improve the reliability of power supply system, which is of great significance to the safe operation of power system. The substation uses the heat shrinkage material to do the insulation protection, the outdoor substation supports the insulator to install the anti-fouling climbing distance growth device, greatly reduces the accident rate, guarantees the power system safe and stable operation. Various cases show that the application prospect of thermal shrinkage insulating material in substation is great.

Let's look at one two two more cases:

For 1 10kV switchgear to implement thermal shrinkage insulation protection investment of about 8000 yuan (including cabinet and Cabinet top), 1 110kV substation to 30 cabinets, investment of about 240,000 yuan. The damage caused by short circuits or flashover accidents in small animals is far greater than that of such investments.

Thermal shrinkage materials can be further expanded in the field of substation applications:

(1) application in Handcart switchgear.

In recent years, it is often found that the handcart switch exploded, the analysis of the reasons found that the handcart switch insulation gear opening diameter of 200mm, and handcart straight arm size is 80mmx8mm, frequent operation of the position often changes, resulting in charged body discharge to the insulating gear plate, and further development to the internal network accident. Therefore, if the heat shrinkage material is applied to the handcart switch of the unattended substation, the thermal shrinkage insulation protection of its straight arm will be good results.

(2) Local implementation of insulation protection for charged conductors.

Thermal shrinkage materials are used in local overhead bare conductors, such as 10kV distribution network overhead lines, which can prevent foreign body splicing. For substation inlet lines, such as 110kV Inlet line, in order to prevent foreign body bonding and wire discharge of trees, etc., can be used heat shrinkage materials for local insulation protection, but the material pressure resistance level requirements are high.

In a word, the thermal shrinkage material is applied to the insulation protection of substation, which fundamentally solves the problems of short circuit, salt mist corrosion, fouling flash and arc discharge of small animals, and is an effective measure to transform the old substation.

The experimental results show that the material has good insulation properties, thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, anti-aging and temperature-resistant properties, and can be used for insulation protection of exposed conductors such as switchgear switchgear and confluence, which can also be used to increase the creeping distance and prevent dirt flashes.


热缩绝缘材料在变电站的应用前景

选用高质量的热缩材料将能明显提高变电站的绝缘防护水平,热缩材料用于变电站的综合绝缘防护可减少事故的发生,提高供电系统的可靠性,对电力系统的安全运行具有重要意义。变电站采用热缩材料做绝缘防护,对室外变电站支持绝缘子加装了防污爬距增长器,大大降低了事故率,保证了电力系统的安全稳定运行。种种案例表明热缩绝缘材料在变电站的应用前景大好。

我们再看两个案例:

对1台10kV的开关柜实施热缩绝缘防护投资约8000元(包括柜内及柜顶),1个110kV变电站以30台柜计,投资约24万元。而小动物短路或污闪事故造成的损失,远大于此类投资。

热缩材料在变电站的应用领域还可进一步拓展:

(1)在手车开关柜中的应用。

近年来,常常发现手车开关发生爆炸,分析原因发现手车开关绝缘档板开孔直径为200mm,而手车直臂尺寸为80mm×8mm,频繁操作后位置经常发生变化,造成带电体对绝缘档板放电,进一步发展到内络事故。因此,如果将热缩材料应用于无人值守变电站的手车开关,对其直臂进行热缩绝缘防护,则会收到良好效果。

(2)对带电导线局部实施绝缘防护。

热缩材料应用于局部架空裸导线,如10kV配网架空线,则可防止异物搭接。对于变电站的进线,如110kV进线,为防止异物搭接及导线对树木放电等,可用热缩材料进行局部绝缘防护,不过对材料的耐压水平要求较高。

总之,热缩材料应用于变电站的绝缘防护,从根本上解决了小动物短路、盐雾腐蚀、污闪、拉弧放电等问题,对老变电站的改造是一种切实有效的措施。

经试验验证,该材料具有良好的绝缘性能以及导热性、阻燃性、抗老化性和耐温性能,可用于变电站开关室开关柜及汇流排等裸露导体的绝缘防护也可用于绝缘子增加爬电距离和防止污闪等。
