It is said that the anti-corrosion tape is not sticky. This understanding is wrong. The viscosity of polyethylene and polypropylene anti-corrosion tapes is not judged in this way. It is measured by the adhesion performance to the primer and steel. We have a standard for judging the viscosity of anti-corrosion tapes, called peel strength. Generally, according to the requirements of industry standard SY / T0414-2007, the peel strength of primer steel is greater than or equal to 20N / CM. Generally, our company ’s polyethylene anti-corrosion Tape products are around 24-25N / CM. If you wrap it up and test it, it is acceptable to reach this value.

      During construction, the anti-corrosion tape is tightened by winding, and a certain pressure is applied to it, and it will gradually become more and more tight. It doesn't mean that the hand or the paper sticks very firmly, or it sticks well. The cold-wrap tape is generally not sticky to the touch, because it is not convenient during construction. If it is not well-wound, it needs to be rewound again, and it cannot be pulled down, which is more troublesome. Therefore, we explain here that the viscosity of the cold-wrap tape will be tightly adhered after you apply the primer to the steel pipe, wind it up, tighten it, or press it with a roller. The customer responds to this situation, which is not a quality problem of polyethylene anticorrosive tape, nor will it affect its anticorrosive performance.

聚乙烯防腐胶带的粘性说明

     防腐胶带在施工时，经过缠绕拉紧，给它施加了一定的压力，慢慢会粘的越来越紧。不是要说手或者纸张放上去就黏的很牢固，就是粘性好。冷缠带一般摸上去不会很黏的，因为这样在施工时也不方便，万一缠的不好要重新缠，就拉不下来，这样更麻烦。因此我们在此说明，冷缠带的黏性在你钢管涂刷底漆后，缠上去，拉紧，或者用辊轮压一下，它是会紧紧黏住的。客户反应这种情况，不是聚乙烯防腐胶带的质量问题，也不会影响它的防腐性能。
