On 12th, July 2018, Dow, Global leaders in Silicon based Technology and Innovation, show that a new silastic fluorosilicone rubber (FSR) for automotive turbocharged tubes will be introduced in China and will be presented at a summit meeting with laboratory test results of the high-performance material compared with conventional fluorocarbon rubber.  The new silastic fluorosilicone rubber (FSR) provides the following key performance enhancements: stronger heat resistance and higher tensile strength, which can meet the requirements of higher engine temperature and pressure of the booster tube. Dow's high performance silicone division will also demonstrate that the new products suitable for turbocharged tube of coextrusion to improve processing performance.
